The automatic cell processing machine to automatize cell culture necessary for study of drug discovery and regenerative medicine is available for sale. The operations such as medium change and passage are executed automatically on schedule. The cell condition can be checked by images outside the machine using our image processing technology. The clean level is class 100 because there is no man in the machine and cloth contamination can be avoided by spraying alcohol. A maximum of 29 types of cells can be cultured at the same time and iPS cells (induced pluripotent stem cell) can be cultured. [Technology Classification]

We are developing an acellular scaffold for the tissue engineering of heart valve, blood vessel, skin, cornea, skeletal muscle, and adipose tissue. Also, skeletal myoblasts are seeded in the scaffold to have a tissue engineered-skeletal muscle. We have shown they are able to move an artificial object by the electrical stimulation. They may also be applicable to a model for the movement physiology and drug metabolism as a micro actuator. [Technology Classification]
