The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Memorial

This Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake caused massive damage to the area around Kobe City and southern Hyogo Prefecture, and shocked people around the whole world as well as in Japan.

From Hanshin IWAYA Station / KASUGANOMICHI Station:
@About 10 minutesf walk southbound.
From JR NADA Station, South Exit: About 12 minutesf walk southbound.
From the MAYA Ramp on the Hanshin Expressway Kobe Route: About 4 minutes.


For viewers, ¥250 within 1 hour, ¥400 within 2 hours,¥500 within 3 hours.
After 3 hours, ¥200 is charged by every 30 minutes.


9:30 ̶ 17:30 (admission until 16:30)
9:30 ̶ 18:00 from July to September (admission until 17:00)
9:30 ̶ 19:00 on Fridays and Saturdays (admission until 18:00)

y highlightszAt 1.17 Theater a film recreating the moment when the great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake occurred is presented, and in watching it you will experience the earthquakefs tremendous power and devastation by means of a large screen using dynamic audiovisual effects (7 minutes).
