Visitors can learn marine science, history of making salt, and nature of Ako.
They can also experience the process of making salt.

Take the bus neading to wards“ Misaki Hoyo Center” from Bansyu Ako Station. Get off at “Ako high school Nishi.” and then go southern for 1km.


Available for personal vehicle and motor coach. (Parking at Ako sea side park)


Exhibition hall 9:00~16:30 (last entrance at 16:00)
Experience of making salt 9:30~ 
Closed Tuesday (holidays fall on Tuesday, closed day is replaced with Wednesday. )
Year end and new year holidays.

Number of visitors facility can accept

Exhibition Hall 100visitors.
Experience of making salt 55visitors(11times per a day)

Experience of making salt. Young children are required to accompany adults.
