Akashi Kaikyo Bridge Exhibition Center


The Bridge Exhibition Center offers the opportunity to learn about the bridge-building technologies used to construct the Honshu-Shikoku Bridges, including the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, through scale models, videos and panel displays.

5 minute walk from the JR Line Maiko Station
7 minute walk from the Sanyo Electric Railway Line Maiko Koen Station


There are no parking lots in this Center. Please use the Maiko-Park parking lot (fee necessary).


The last admission is 30 minutes before closing. 9:15-17:00 .
Jul.20-Aug.31 9:15-18:00, Dec.1-Feb.28 9:15-16:30 Closed Mondays(the next day if Monday is a national holiday),Dec.29-Jan.3.
Open every day during the Golden Week(from late April to early May)and from July.20 to Aug.31

Admission fee

Adults:310yen per person
Elementary school and junior high school students: 150yen per person
Specially discounted fee for people who are 65 year old or older: 200yen per person
Group discount: For groups of 20 people or more
                       Adults: 270yen
                       Elementary school and junior high school students: 130yen

Please come together with an interpreter, if explanation is necessary.
