Shosha Art & Craft Museum

Outline

We display the traditional arts and crafts of Himeji City. You can paint your own“ Hariko ” (papier-mâché) and “ Koma ” (spinning tops) which can be played with in the studio, and on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays, you watch demonstrations by professional craftsmen.

• From the north exit of JR Himeji Station, take the Shinki Bus bound for “Shoshazan Ropeway” and get off at the final stop.
• About 15 minutes from the “Himeji Nishi Ramp” on the Himeji Bypass. About 10 minutes from the “Himeji Nishi IC” on the Sanyo Expressway.
• About 15 minutes from the “Yumesaki Smart IC” on the Chugoku Expressway.
