Visitors can see display of the remains of sake brewery in Japan.(There is no sake brewing here.)
Located inside a museum that holds exhibitions, lectures and events covering
a wide range of fields including art, crafts, haiku and history, the museum
also has the Former Okada Residence (Sake Brewery) (Nationally designate
Important Cultural Property) and the Former Ishibashi Residence (Hyogo
Prefecture designated Tangible Cultural Property) built in the late Edo
period. Making use of these cultural properties, the Itami Gocho Craft
Shop exhibits and sells works by craft artists from around the country,
and Gocho-Maruten also regularly hosts cafes and events.
