This is a tour where you can visit Japan’s largest silk fabric refining factory.

Access

• Bus: Take the express bus of Tango kairiku Kotsu from Osaka Station, and then take a taxi from Mineyama Station (approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes).
• Train: 20 minutes walk from Kyotango-Omiya Station on Kyoto Tango Railway
• Car: 15 minutes from Kyotango-Omiya IC on the San-in-Kinki Expressway

Available (20 cars)
Bus parking available (prior notification required).

Hours

Weekdays from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm (Factory tours available until 2:30 pm)
Closed : Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the New Year and year-end holidays.

Available for one person or more (consultation required for groups of 10 or more).

Admission fee

• Open factory: 1,000 yen (18year and older), 500 yen (17 years old and under)
• Cup chirimen workshop: 2,500 yen
• Shop: Free
