From JR/Kintetsu Tenri Station, take public bus (Nara Kotsu Bus) or a taxi for 15 minutes. The “SHARP SOGO KAIHATSU CENTER” bound bus comes once every hour. Walk 3 minutes from the bus stop.

Monday-Friday, 9:30-17:00 (last entrance at 16:00). Closed on national holidays, and SHARP holidays.

Facility details / highlights

Sharp Technology Innovation Museum is comprised of History and Technology Section.
In History Section, visitors can observe valuable historical materials in chronological order, such as the Sharp Pencil from which the company name and brand are derived, and also the Japan's first TV set and World's first all-transistor-diode electronic desktop calculator registered as an essential historical material for science and technology by National Museum of Nature and Science.
In Technology Section, Visitors can observe various applications and technologies with easy-to-understand demonstrations introduce a part of achievements of research. For example, various home appliances by using biomimetics, recycling technology, etc.
